Art Coming Soon...

Hoping to post some of my artwork soon, including the project that won't end! There is a painting I have been working on that I stare at every day, but work on very little. I have oodles of ideas for more paintings I want to start, but I feel like I can't work on anything until this one is done!

Daffodils and Naps

I haven't done this in awhile (the blog thing), but here I am! It feels kind of scary. I don't really think anyone will read this. I'm hoping this to be a record for myself, to show myself that I can accomplish things.

The other day, I thought I was having a day of little value. I didn't get to sew. I didn't get to paint.  BUT, I did enjoy mom school time (our own little preschool - really just an excuse to spend time together) with Little Princess. I picked up some daffodils in the afternoon and delivered them to people I thought needed some sunshine. It took a bit of time and I really didn't have any time for anything else that day, but it was wonderful to brighten people's day. I had a little nap with Little Princess too. It felt so good, and was just what I needed. I sure love being near this girl.

Overall, a fulfilling day. My days don't need to be about me to make me happy :).
